The Knitting & Stitching Show
I am currently slogging away making another example of the ‘Fantasy Garden Cuff’ for next May (You can now see the 2nd finished article at the top of every page). I have to start now as I don’t have much time these days for beadwork, because I was a very bad girl at the Knitting and Stitching Show in October.
This year the Beadworkers Guild stand was well staffed so I spent a couple of days helping out my dear friend Sue Richardson at The Textile Directory stand. For some reason I arrived home from Ally Pally with my head full of knitting ideas. These have totally consumed me over the last few months and I have been a complete knitting machine. The other fixation I have is BAGS. BAGS BAGS BAGS. I have knitted/felted one, beaded some, sewn some (one of which was immediately snaffled by my daughter Gemma, and I haven’t even been able to use it yet) and crocheted one. I think I must develop the bags craving as it has so much potential. And I luuuurve bags.
