Newest Byzantine Cross
I’ve just finished this latest version of the Byzantine Cross. In this image, I’ve photographed it against the computer screen to show the extent of the filigree going on in the structure. I haven’t super-embellished this one with freshwater pearls because I felt the crystals and gold were enough. The more I make of these, the more I want to make in different colour combinations! I think the colour choice is mainly governed by the Rivoli you choose. I can’t wait to teach this at Great Escapes, Stitchncraft and for the Beadworkers Guild, and see everyone’s colour choices.
