Torie’s Nefertiti’s Treasure Pattern
Torie bought my Nefertiti’s Treasure pattern and, together with her fella Scott, has made this gorgeous version, using a Swarovski ceramic blue Cosmic Ring. I asked her where she lived and how long she’d been beading and this is what she said:
“We are in Wisconsin. We actually just found a box of beads about a month ago and learned how to do some peyote stitch beads for our dreadlocks, winters here are cold and snowy and there is not much to do…so we wanted to try something more challenging. Looked around, and I fell in love with this pattern so we decided to try it out. I am pretty artsy though and have been crafting since I was little.”
I’m so impressed that they’ve managed to conquer this challenging piece in such little time – well done guys, seriously! You’ve done a fab job!
