Boîte à Bijoux

The Boîte à Bijoux or Jewellery Box was made after I’d finished my Caterina de Medici necklace so it’s very much part of the Medici collection. The crystals were so big they easily lent themselves to a project like this, but it was extremely fiddly! The bit I enjoyed making most I think, was the little feet – I didn’t want the box to just sit on its bottom!
