Melanie is a bead artist and international tutor, specializing in off-loom bead weaving techniques and beaded wirework.
Inspired by nature and her scientific background, she is driven to explore and experiment, which manifests itself in her work.
Melanie has taught workshops privately throughout the UK and for The Beadworkers’ Guild since 1999, covering all levels of ability, and she is now a regular tutor at the Bead & Button Show in the US. Known for her challenging projects, Melanie guides her students to push their boundaries of exploration in creativity, colour blending and bead variation, but above all, the emphasis is on the joys of creating beautiful beadwork and having lots of fun.
